All domestic orders are shipped via USPS First Class with tracking. Delivery usually occurs in 4-7 business days upon processing your purchase for items that are in stock. Items made to order will be shipped as soon as possible. Please note that a customer signature is required for deliveries of jewelry valued over $500.

Occasionally, shipping errors happen. Unfortunately, Mindy can’t assume responsibility for any delays, damages, loss, or other issues that occur once a package leaves her hands. Please consider this before your order is shipped.

Mindy will do her best to complete your order as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that every piece is lovingly handcrafted, which requires time and attention to detail. Jewelry that is in stock will be shipped immediately and many made to order items will be shipped within 2 weeks. However, made to order and jewelry can be time and labor intensive, so please allow 3-4 weeks for creation and shipping. Because Mindy makes everything herself, she’s likely to be working on other orders when yours comes in. Delivery times may be affected during high volume periods, such as Christmas. Please contact Mindy if  you need an order immediately. She will do everything possible to accommodate you.

Mindy devotes long hours to designing and hand making her jewelry, especially on those pieces that are made to order. Therefore, she does not accept returns. Returns are offered only if there is a maker’s defect in a piece of jewelry. Jewelry purchased during promotional events with discount codes are final. There are no returns or exchanges on made to order or custom made jewelry. 

Exchanges can be made within 14 days of delivery for items that were in stock when ordered, as opposed to made to order. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with an exchange. Larger jewelry manufacturers do not offer the services and unique handmade pieces that Mindy offers. Likewise, she can not offer the same policies as the larger manufacturers. 

If you would like to have a different length chain for a pendant, please contact Mindy. She will do her best to accommodate you if you send the piece back to her. You will be responsible for the shipping cost of $10.

Mindy stands behind her work and offers a lifetime guarantee on her jewelry. As long as she’s alive, she’ll gladly repair your jewelry for free, if possible. This guarantee covers jewelry damaged through normal use. For example, she’ll fix a broken earring post or French hook, and replace a broken clasp. She will also renew oxidized and satin finishes. You can either bring the jewelry to Mindy, or ship it to her at your expense. (Please use trackable shipping and pack the jewelry carefully to avoid further damage.) She will not replace or repair chipped or broken gemstones, broken chains, dented or scratched items, or jewelry that was mistreated. Please contact Mindy if you need to discuss a repair.

If you are ordering a ring, please ensure that you provide the correct ring size. For example, you may need a larger size than usual if you order a wide ring. If the size of your new ring doesn’t feel right, please contact Mindy. Resizing is possible in most designs. She wants you to be comfortable wearing your ring rather than simply admire it.

Because of the handcrafted nature of Mindy’s jewelry, there will be slight variations in shape, size and color of the jewelry you receive as compared to the photo and details in this site. No two pieces of her work will look exactly alike.

To create a less wasteful jewelry business, Mindy made a conscious decision to change the way that she produces much of her jewelry. She doesn’t want everything that she makes to be produced months in advance or in huge quantities. She is mindful that every time she orders metal, she adds to the energy spent in production, milling and sometimes even mining. That may not seem like much, but every little bit helps to ease the burden that we’re placing on the planet.

So, as you’ll see, many of Mindy’s handmade items are made to order. That means that she makes them entirely from scratch after she receives a confirmed order. That allows her to maintain the exquisite craftsmanship of her jewelry and eliminate the production of surplus stock. She uses recycled metals and stones wherever possible and works with many local businesses to do what she can to reduce waste in the jewelry industry. That’s why it may take her several weeks to make and deliver your jewelry. She hopes you understand and appreciate why you may have to wait for your special, handmade piece of jewelry to arrive.
