This beautiful one of a kind Kyanite cabochon is set in 14k gold as befitting such a special stone. Large pieces of gem-quality Kyanite are rare, so Mindy cut it into an oval cabochon to best show its chatoyancy. Chatoyancy gives Kyanite an internal iridescence and makes it change color and luster depending on the angle of light that hits its aligned internal inclusions.
